Undiscovered bands and musical performers come out to play at one of The Best Talent Award's open band auditions. We take the top musical performers and let them compete in the ultimate battle of the bands contest held in Los Angeles later this year in front of the Industry's top music agents.

How to prepare for Band Auditions!

Musical Groups: We are looking for males and females of all ages. We accept instrumental or vocal groups. Please prepare a 1-minute excerpt that showcases your group. No accompaniment will be provided. You are welcome to sing without music. If you would like background music you must bring your own tape or CD player. If you are unable to bring your instruments please bring a tape or CD of you playing and a stereo to play it on. The dress is casual. If you have a picture and resume you may bring it, but this is not necessary.

Primary Musical Group

Breaking into the music business is incredibly difficult -- even for the most talented of performers. The industry only accepts solicited demo tapes, and even then you can only pray that someone will actually listen to it. Not only is this an expensive venture – it seldom produces results. BTA offers you the opportunity to perform live for top record producers, managers, and music agents in Los Angeles . There is no better way.
